The arrival of iOS 7 this summer, made our iDevices (iPhone, iPad, iPod) look more stunning than ever before. From an entirely re-visualization (if slightly debated) look to a new prototype of user experience, it appears that Apple Inc. has gone all out in its effort to re-discover the mobile operating system for the following era.
Amongst these, the “parallax effect” is intended to alter the technique we actually communicate with our mobile devices. By the use of a clever encoding, it converts the screen into rather more: a piece of glass after which users can perceive a 3D world that changes and inclines together with the device itself.
The basic standard that makes parallax likely is a coincidence in the mode the human insight of size works. Since the eye works by compelling light over a single point, the brain has educated to quantity the size of things based on the superficial angle amongst their extremes, as measured from our pupils. As a consequence, things that are closer incline to seem larger, while things that are beyond away appear smaller. This is the foundation for our insight of perception, and parallax is basically the seeming movement that entities take when you move around them.
The new ‘parallax’ feature on iOS 7 is excellent, but with some wallpapers, it can make the pictures not look as sharp as they should be, which is tremendously outward on the retina display. FYI, The original resolution for wallpapers (to account for parallax) for iPhone 5 and iPod touch 5 is 1040×1526.
You need to click on the wallpapers and can download the HD version or the compressed (.zip) file of them can be downloaded from here.
Also, we would like to thanks the designers of some of the wallpapers! Tyler designed Worlds on Deviant Art who designed the majority of the nebula wallpapers and Miiiils who created the Mavericks wallpaper seemingly.
