MICROSOFT has just revealed its new Surface Plus plan which allows Windows 10 users to upgrade to a new device every 18 months.

Microsoft’s latest hardware continues to impress with the new Surface Pro and Surface Laptop receiving positive feedback.
In our recent review of the Surface Laptop Express.co.uk said: “If you’re after a Windows-powered PC that’s light, portable and mighty fine-looking, the Surface Laptop should definitely be on your wish list.”
Now the US technology company is trying helping users get their hands on these latest and greatest gadgets with a new service called Surface Plus.

The offer allows Windows fans to own a Surface Pro or Surface Laptop for a monthly fee.

The deal is interest free for the first two years and even includes dedicated device service and support through Microsoft’s retail stores, alongside a year of free in-store support and technical assistance.

Microsoft says that as long as the current model owned is in good condition they will swap it for the latest version.The new plans have just gone live in the US with prices for the Surface Laptop starting from $41.63 (£31) per month and Surface Pro costing from $33.29 (£25) per month.

There’s currently no word when a similar deal will arrive in the UK but Microsoft often launches in more countries a few months after its US unveiling.

The news of this latest deal comes as millions of iPhone owners are about to be treated to a much easier way of connecting their devices to Windows-powered PCs.
Microsoft has just announced the release of its latest Windows 10 Insider Preview Build (16251) which includes the ability to link directly with almost any smartphone.An Android version was announced last week but the US technology firm has just revealed the new feature will now work with Apple’s smartphone as well.

The “Continue on PC” app is now available for the iPhone and allows to users to view content from their phone straight on their PC.

Users simply invoke the native share experience on their smartphone and share the website to the “Continue on PC” option.

As well introducing easier sharing between smartphones Microsoft has also revealed a big update to Cortana in this latest build.

The update means users can view the results that Cortana has for them without launching the web browser.

The full Windows 10 Creators update is expected to arrive in the Autumn.
