In yet another round of the filling law suits on one another, Apple Inc recently slapped a law Suit against Samsung Electronics Coin Germany, demanding an immediate ban on the sales of the smartphones of the company.
The spokesperson from the Apple Inc, Mr. Peter Schuetz informed us that the recent law suit is filled against the 10 popular smart phones offered by the Samsung Electronics in Dusseldorf Regional Court and the action has been taken with the sole aim of protecting the design rights owned by Apple. “Apple also started a separate suit against five Samsung tablet computers related to a September ruling banning the Galaxy 10.1”, he said.
The latest lay suit is an edition in the long list of legal battles within which both the companies have been involved in ever since the worldwide iPhone makes held its Korean contemporary guilty of copying the designs and aesthetics of its products. Samsung on the other hand, had surpassed the iPhone the US based company in the sale of smart phones in the third quarter, owing to the popularity of its Galaxy products.
Nam Ki Yung, the spokesperson of Samsung from Seoul confirmed the filling of law suit against them and also confessed that company does not have anything to say on immediate basis.
The shares of Samsung has seen a drop of as much as 1.4 per cent and were 1.2 per cent down at 1,024,000 won as of 12:25 pm in Seoul trading. The benchmark for its performance, the Kospi index was also lowered by 0.2 per cent.
