Google engineer Frank Petterson announced that the company has released Google+ app for iPad and iPhone in 48 countries and territories in an attempt to make its service both global and mobile.
Check out the complete list of 48 countries below:

Google+ app for iPhone and iPad made its debut in the middle of last year after the reports of Apple delayed the approval of Google+ app in its app store intentionally.
While users in these 48 nations represent only just a fraction of the whole Google+ community but still this move of the company is significant in expanding its global reach.
This international release comes just after few days of announcement of Graph Search by Facebook. At the launch event Zukerberg said he has decided to work with Bing instead of Google as Bing provides more flexibility in terms of privacy. Facebook Graph search may take away small fraction of users’ attention and ads business from Google
A number of those 48 countries and territories should have been covered already in terms of local language support, as the iOS apps can be used in over 40 languages which are listed below:
English, Arabic, Bulgarian, Catalan, Chinese, Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, Estonian, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Hebrew, Hindi, Hungarian, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Latvian, Lingala, Lithuanian, Malay, Moldavian, Norwegian, Persian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Serbian, Slovak, Slovenian, Spanish, Swedish, Tagalog, Thai, Turkish, Ukrainian, Urdu, Vietnamese
Google+ app received a lot of updates in December 2012 across Windows, iOS, Android platforms including an ability to edit the profiles, option to subscribe anyone’s circle along with a fresh new stream interface.
However, Google+ is having far less numbers of users and fan following as compared to that of Facebook but still Google is working hard to improve its social network which got year end updates and packed its iPad and iPhone app with some new great features in December last year.
Google is going global and expanding at an unbelievable rate. Having an iPhone and not being able to use the Google app was quite a disclaimer. But now I am excited to use it in my territory as well.
